Chinese Noodle Beans

The Chinese Noodle Bean, also known as "Yardlong Beans" or "Long Beans," is characterized by its long pods. These pods can reach lengths of over 60 centimeters, and if referred to as "Yardlong," they might even exceed 90 centimeters. Its place of origin is the tropical regions of Asia and Africa. The beans come in variations of green and purple, and they have a crispy texture. These beans are commonly used in Asian cuisines, especially in Chinese, Thai, and Filipino dishes. They are utilized in a wide range of dishes such as stir-fries, salads, and soups. Not only are they striking in dishes, but when planted in a garden, they are sure to draw attention. This year, I bought them as vegetables from a local farmer for the first time and found them delicious. Next year, I'm considering growing them myself. To introduce this interesting bean, which is uncommon in supermarkets, I made this artwork.
